Long-distance move from La Grange, IL to Bowling Green, KY

Scam company

Scam company. Their preferred movers are thieves. They pay to erase negative reviews. All my items arrived damaged. The actual movers hired guys of craigslist. So underhanded. They scammed me and I was forced to pay. In the end I should have given my stuff away and bought new,I would have been saving money.

Long-distance move from Maryland to West Virginia

This company is a scam.

Priceline Logistics LLC is one of the biggest scam companies out there. You want to be lied to, quoted wrong prices every time you talk to a company representative or even a company owner, cheated out of hundreds and thousands of dollars, then go with this company. It would be a perfect choice for you. I needed my stuff moved from MD to WV and placed into a storage unit for less than a month. The first time I got in touch with this company I was talking to a person who introduced himself as a company owner. He quoted me a total of $2,500 for everything, plus free storage for the first month. I signed the contract online and thought I was good to go. Until, less than 2 days before the move I talked to a different representative from this company, who told me that my stuff will not fit in the truck they were originally going to use, so therefore I will have to now pay roughly $2,000 more dollars for a bigger truck. The day the movers showed up and were loading my stuff onto the truck, I was told that the truck will not take my stuff anywhere, unless I pay them an additional $500. After all that, $5,000 (plus tip) later, they told me that they cannot take it to an independent storage facility (which is what I originally requested) and will have to take my stuff to their own storage unit in WV and deliver it to me upon my request. This process was going to be free… until I was in WV and calling them to deliver my stuff; I called on January 7th, 2020. Today is January 13th, one week later. I still haven’t gotten my stuff back or hear from anyone, so I called the company 2 times, to finally get a representative tell me that they will not be delivering my stuff. They don’t know which storage facility my stuff is at and are working on getting that information, but when they do, they will let me know and I will have to move these things home by myself, with two little children and no help, and pay them $120 for that, OR they can deliver my stuff to my house, but that will cost me close to $2,000 on top of the $5,000 I already paid. Please help me someone out there! I don’t know what to do! I have been totally scammed out of money AND my stuff is still missing!

I have all the paperwork and contracts saved on my computer. I will post them here if need be.

Official company response

Ms. Knoll,

Let us first sincerely apologize for your negative experience with our company. We strive to provide top tier customer service and satisfaction with all departments.
We would like to touch on a few points you mentioned to clarify any misunderstandings that may have taken place.

Upon reviewing the estimates you posted, your original quote was for $2,571.91. This quote was for the items you requested to be priced for your move which included 34 items & 76 total pieces (800 cubic feet).
We called to confirm you were packed and ready for the move and to do a final check of inventory for accuracy which is when you requested to add additional items you had packed.
The adjusted second estimate was quoted for $4,411.52 which was now for a total of 71 items and 191 total pieces (1,361 cubic feet).
The reason for the increased cost of your job was due to adding more than double the amount of items originally provided for your requested reservation.
You will see that after you requested to double the size of the job we discounted the rate the total volume was priced at to keep costs as low as possible with the added items requested.
We attempt to discount all of our jobs every opportunity available.

Because you required 30 days of storage we included that free of charge, however you requested it be a private storage near your new home in WV which was the reason for the $120 storage fee. Had it been stored in the warehouse; the 30 days of free storage would have stood true.

Lastly we advised to provide a weeks notice minimum, or preferably a longer notice if possible of your delivery date availability.
The drivers operate off of a calendar and need to be provided advanced notice to add your delivery to the schedule. The accommodations have been made and you were promptly added to the operations calendar.

We place a high emphasis on our customers experience and the service we provide. If you would like to discuss the issues further with our General Manager please call us at your convenience. (855) 444-4615.

Good Moving Services.

Priceline Logistics does all of the pickup and delivery for my custom made furniture design business. They are always professional and timely with deliveries. The products I import are high end and they take great care to make sure nothing is damaged during receiving and delivery. They also inspect each item upon receiving and I am made aware of any damage that happened before they take possession. I am very happy doing business with them!

No communication.

Longer than expected delivery. Price was okay. My biggest problem is the lack of communication. I literally had to call every few days to get an update on my move. Not one phone call was made to me unless I emailed or left a voicemail. PriceLine logistics seemed to have great service, but they pick a 3rd party delivery company (the company is “True state moving”). Check the rating on yelp for that company. 2/5 stars. Would never signed up for that if I had know.

Official company response

Mr. Dell,

We hate to see such a poor rating and review from a customer. Priceline Logistics has made a name for in the industry for superior customer service.
We do have logs of our communication and the phone call and email updates to you regarding updates and information during your move.
Also your delivery was completed in less than 72 hours for multiple state transit and delivery. We did not charge any extra fee for an expedited direct move.
We hope you would reconsider your position, however we wish you were more satisfied.

Stay far away from this company they will say anything get your deposi.

Don’t be fooled by there sales tactics they will feed you anything you want to hear and then once they get your deposit everything changes, I honestly don’t know how they have so many five star reviews on Google I think they are creating fake reviews on Google and other similar sites if you look at Better Business Bureau‘s site they have had negative reviews similar to mine in the past 5 months alone. I received an estimate from this company with certain items on the inventory I was told as long as the inventory does not change the price will not change. When the moving truck arrived the inventory stayed exactly the same but the moving company could not fit it into their truck and said they need a full-size trailer in order to fit the contents of my house. I contacted the customer service department to ask for a copy of the estimate and to my surprise the estimate jumped to almost $15,000 saying that my contents would take up more space in the truck then their system initially accounted for. During the sales call I spoke to the representative and mentioned some of my items are both easier than others and cannot be stocked their response was our system accounts for 10% overage with each item so you will have nothing to worry about!

Long-distance move from Haslett, MI to Aurora, CO

Terrible Experience, Awful Communication and Customer Service.

I really went into this thinking it would go well but overall we had a really bad experience. Moving across the country itself is stressful, but this company gave me little confidence and created added stressors.

When trying to schedule our pick up day, they called three days in advance (Thursday) and told us someone would contact us the next day to set up a time. Which they did not. At about 3 pm I called and they let me know that it's usually done at the end of the business day, so I waited for 5, and then 6 and called again. That person told me that most likely it would be Sunday because I hadn’t heard but he would call dispatch and have dispatch call me, which they did not. The next day (Saturday) I called again, to which I was told dispatch would once again contact me. At 9 am, dispatch calls and lets me know that the movers will be there at 12, probably, but he'd call me back soon to confirm. He did not call back to confirm, but in a panic, we took apart our bed and put the mattress in a protector. I called back about an hour later, only for him to tell me that they would actually be coming Sunday.

After this, I called the actual company to get some clarity and a representative gave me her number to call if anything else went wrong the next day and assured me that she would personally check on everything in the morning. She also gave the correct number for dispatch after I asked for it, otherwise I would not have been able to contact anyone the next day. She also confirmed that if I had not called, I would not have been given any information about the movers or what was happening. When Sunday morning came and went and the movers did not show up on time, or an hour after their time slot, I called dispatch and was told that the truck broke down and they no longer had a mover for me so I would just have to wait another day. I never got a call from the representative and she never answered my three phone calls. No one at the company would answer, because it was Sunday and no one was in. I called dispatch back and had a heart to heart, promising I would find another moving company if they couldn’t assure us we could actually get moving, and somehow they came up with a truck. At one point, dispatch asked me to stop calling and just to text them, which I found ridiculous. They arrived at 8 and did not leave until 10. The actual movers were great, they wore masks and were really polite and nice and I was happy with how they handled it.

Upon arrival of our stuff -- which I will say did come quickly -- the new movers manhandled our things and one was not wearing a mask, but was breathing heavily in my new home. I had scratched up furniture, crushed boxes, and broken glass in boxes that were clearly labelled fragile. I also had to pay more for things that were not on the original contract. More importantly, I came to realize that my backpacking bag was missing, along with the gear inside that likely cost me over $1,000. After calling them and being directed to file a claim, I called back to see if someone could at least try to look for it and another woman gave me a phone number that didn’t work and I had to call back and they gave me a website instead. It has been three weeks and no one can find it and I have had to file a claim, where I will get 60 cents per pound. The company has been extremely bad at calling me back when they promise they will, and I feel like I am chasing them down constantly to get simple answers.

There were some things that happened that I could have been okay with if they simply picked up the phone and called me, but at every turn, I had to call six different numbers and send an email just to get a response. I would also be careful as the original contract you sign will not have the same things in it as the contract you sign when the movers actually arrive. I would never use this company again, I felt they were unprofessional and didn’t care about how it went for us.

Long-distance move from San Francisco, CA to Denver, CO

They lie to you about everything, pay for fake reviews [SCAM].

When I got the call from Brian, a salesman, I had a lot of very direct questions because my roommate recently had an awful moving experience.

I ordered service on August 18, 2020 with a pickup date of August 31. It's Sept. 18 and everything I own is locked in a warehouse in Las Vegas, with no guarantee on when it will arrive.

I'm leaving to London Monday, Sept. 21 for a couple months for work, and my stuff WILL NOT be here before then. They told me if I'm not there to receive it, **I** have to pay for storage. I also won't be able to evaluate damage or missing belongings.

I asked Brian:

- Will my stuff get transferred from one truck to another?

"Absolutely not, it's a short move, so it will get loaded on a single truck and go directly to Denver."

- How long will it take? Do you offer any guaranteed delivery dates?

"No, nobody offers guaranteed delivery dates. I am required to tell you that it can take from 3-10 days to arrive based on DOT estimates for the distance"

30 minutes before the end of the arrival window, I got a call that the truck had "transmission problems" and they'd have to dispatch another one, which wouldn't be there for 2 days. 2 days later, they were 3 hours late to show up to pick my sutff up. My lease ended on August 31, my promised pickup date, but they didn't show up until September 2nd.

They contract out the move to whatever the lowest bidder is and keep the difference. After all their lies, they have human punching bags getting paid minimum wage to listen to your complaints, then try to defer blame to the contracted moving company.

They aren't offering me any refund whatsoever, or any way to get an expedited delivery before I have to leave to London.

THIS IS A SCAM. Don't use any companies that aren't the same ones who employ the movers and drivers, e.g. Budget Van Lines.

Not a moving company a broker for many moving companies.

When they give you a price they under estimate.

Low-ball in order to get the job, then the movers want twice as much.

There was no arguing, they threatened to leave without moving my belongings it was a nightmare. I had told them that it was a nursing home I could not go into because of covid-19, why Priceline logistics was making an estimate I had talked to them probably 15 to 20 times telling them the same thing.

When the sent emails asking me to prepare,I'd call again and say, "it's a nursing home I cannot go in you will have to do everything" They would reply,

"yes we understand, yes we considered that in the estimate"

TO ASSURE THEY UNDERSTOOD I WOULD REPEAT..

I could not enter the nursing home and not wrap up anything that they would have to do it all,

THEY ASSURED ME IN RETURN EVERY TIME,

IT WAS ALL INCLUDED IN THE ESTIMATE THEY WERE GIVING ME!!

Obviously it was all a front so that they could increase the price once "themovingcompany' they subcontracted to could raise the final price once they got there.

An absolute fraudulent, horrible horrible sad disturbing mess all outside of my mother's nursing home just weeks after she had passed away it was a horrible situation I would never suggest them ever to anyone even my worst enemy.

Irresponsable, Poot customer service, not liable per their contract

This company acts as a broker for moving companies and once you provide your initial down payment you aren’t their concern anymore. Their estimators works on commission and their only goal is to collect the initial payment which is clearly printed on contract as “Not refundable “, which explained the disregard by the company once they collect your initial payment. It gets worse, when the movers arrive to your location for pick up the estimated space will increase by at lease 50%, but if you measure you’ll find out that is just part of the strategy to collect more money from you, which by the time they get to your location you might not had any other choice due to timing (and they know this) reason why they don’t care if you disagree with then since they already have a portion of your money. If you decide to proceed with the move and allow them to ripped you of thousands of dollars then the movers leader will let you know they expert a nice tip (in a very nice sutil way) if you disagree good luck with the way they’ll handle your properties. We pay for packaging and that was a extra $650.00 Dollars, that was a huge mistake, our clothes got thrown in boxes, our mattresses damaged and our dishes destroyed due to the poor packaging (my 6 years old could had done a better job).

The day of delivery, the driver refuse to deliver if I didn’t agree to pay for 2 movers he hired from Craigslist (more money).

When you hire Priceline logistics you’re exposing yourself to scam orchestrated by 3 different companies: Priceline logistics, Pro Tri State Movers and an independent driver hire by Pro Tri State Movers. So as you can see that kind of gives you and idea of the obstacles they create to get more and more money out of their vulnerable customers.

Be aware Priceline logistics job is to facilitate a trapping contract which allows them to take advantage of people and not be accountable for it.

If you need to move across the states there are carrier companies that would deliver your stuff safely for less than half of what you pay these 3 companies, the only difference is that you have to load it yourself, which I strongly suggest if you care for your property.

Good luck!

Long-distance move from Baton Rouge, LA to Denver, CO

SCAM!!!

The day of pickup. The movers started loading up my things before I had a chance to look at the paperwork. About 20 minutes in, after they had disassembled most of my furniture, they asked me to sign the paperwork. At this point they showed no indication that the cost had increased at all, let alone so drastically.

Once finished, they gave me a total of $8,228, which was drastically more than the original quote. At this point I had no choice in the matter and when I argued they threatened to keep my items. I was charged more than double, including a $1500 upcharge for packing, despite the fact that all of my items were already packed, and the initial contract stated that any disassembly and loading would be included in the initial quote. As they were holding all of my things hostage I had no choice but to sign and pay the first half of the fee. The movers also attempted to pressure me to give a tip, which I did not give as I had already dished out so much money. I immediately contacted the customer service at Priceline Logistics and they assured me that it was a mistake and that they would help me resolve the issue. I spoke several times with Tony and Jameica and they both assured me they would to everything they could to help get this resolved. As the delivery date approached I was told that I would be required to pay and that Priceline Logistics would be resolving this and getting my money back on the backend. The day before the delivery I let the movers know that my apartment complex would not let us start to move in until 1pm. They informed me that they would be here at 11am and for every hour they had to wait would be an extra $150. This was nowhere on the paperwork and when I tried to argue they let me know that they would not be delivering until the fee was paid. So now on top of the gross upcharge I was being charged another $300. Again I was in contact with Tony and Jameica with Priceline Logistics the entire time and they assured me they would take care of it. So I paid the fee, along with the remaining amount due in order to have my things delivered. Several items were broken and missing in the move. I am now out almost $9000, and contact from Priceline Logistics has dwindled to nothing. I have attempted to contact several times, but my calls go straight to voicemail and I have not received a response to any of my emails.

Overcharged $3000 - 3 Months+ Late Delivery

This will be longer review, so if you want to know the details please read in full. Otherwise, the bottom line is: DO NOT use this company. DO NOT trust the reviews you see on google or other platforms. The last few months have been some of the most stressful, anxiety inducing, and angering in regards to working with a business. Essentially Priceline with full knowledge connected us with a terrible carrier that overcharged us $2700-$3000 on the spot. We did not get our belongings for 3 and half months after pick up. Priceline would not help or refund a single penny after the overcharge was discovered. The managers would refuse to speak with me, they kept telling me they would work it out and partially refund me. They would promise they would call me back and would not over and over for months. They are a deceitful company that takes advantage of people in one of the most stressful situations. Here is the detailed testimony:

On Aug 27th the carrier whom Priceline Logistics booked for us arrived at our location. We were given the estimate of 799 cu/ft by our broker which would be adjusted to the actual volume once loaded. They said ALL of their trucks were marked with cu/ft markers so we could verify actual volume when loaded. When the carrier (Revolution Moving Systems, look them up and you’ll see very rating is 1 star with horrible stories) came to pick up, the driver Jeremy did a visual estimate of our items in our apt and said it would be closer to 1200 cu/ft, citing he does this all the time and knows what the actual volume would be. We were initially mad at our broker, Priceline, for trying to secure our business with a lower estimated volume. However, since we had no alternative and had a 3 day drive the next morning, and with my wife and 2 kids flying out, we were in a bind. We verbally agreed the adjusted $6000 estimate (originally $3800) would have to be ok. At the end of the night after done loading, I requested to look at the truck to check actual volume since the driver said the volume was around the 1200 cu/ft, which I did not believe. The truck did not have any markings to indicate volume, so I had to measure. The actual volume came out to be 640 cu/ft!! I made accurate measurements and took pictures of all measurements to prove the volume of 640 cu/ft. At this point we knew he had lied about his estimate, as it came in even lower than what Pricelines. Our charge should've been closer to $3000-3300. We argued for an hour from 8:45 pm to 9:45 pm to change the volume on the BOL, but he would not. He eventually called his boss Lorenzo and who then gave us an ultimatum to accept the inaccurate 1100 cu/ft listed on the BOL, at $6000, or they unload everything that night and charge us $1000 for their time. An impossible situation. Feeling helpless and tired, we had the driver write the charges were under dispute, initial it, but we under duress were forced to sign the BOL that listed the incorrect volume and high charge. The carrier had told us Priceline, the broker, would work with us on the charge. The next day I called Priceline, emailed them, and explained everything that had happened. They said they would work on our behalf to get it adjusted. Over the next three and a half months Priceline did absolutely nothing to help us where it mattered – refunding us some charges or making the carrier refund us to the actual volume of the move. Various “managers” talked the talk, saying they would get me additional money refunded, get “updates” on when our belongings would be delivered, but they ended up taking NO ACTION. Nothing was refunded, I lost count how many times they would promise to call me back and take care of it and no one did. I must have called them 10-15 times over the months asking for a refund, to get our belongings back. They would deflect, refuse to let me talk to someone who had the power to really make a difference. The experience we had the last three and a half months has been terrible. I write this now after our belongings were finally delivered for fear of retaliation and them further holding our goods hostage. How can they expect anyone to live 3 and half months without the majority of their stuff? It’s a crime and immoral to make a family live like that for so long not knowing what will happen, and putting financial strain on you for having to buy replacement items that you already own. Priceline is a greedy company, plain and simple. I could chargeback all their charges and justify it with the cc company over discrepancy over estimates/final charges, pick up and delivery problems, deceptive business practices, and ultimately not delivery a service they promised or described. I still may, I have up to a year my card company said. I encourage anyone reading this with a similar story to complain to the fmcsa.dot.gov website, BBB, and get back your money if need be.

Long-distance move from Buffalo, NY to Austin, TX

Cheated by them

Priceline Logistics Review:

I moved my stuff from Buffalo, NY to Austin, TX. the only thing Priceline Logistics was good at the response time when they needed you to pay them money. There were so many people following up with me. Now that they have damaged my belongings and I have paid them and tipped their personnel, emailing them is like sending shouting in the black-hole. I have to resort to putting this review online, which hopefully will keep you out of their trap. I summarize my experience as follow:

1. They assigned the moving task to a company named Moving Forward Express LLC (rated poorly across the internet). There were two people who came to pick up my stuff. They assessed that I had more items than the inventory listed... which was true.. so we paid them $600 beyond the quoted price. One of the guys was a rookie who broke one furniture (huge drawer) which we had to abandon. Everyone makes mistakes. The same rookie packed our bedroom belongings, a pricey mattress and bed frame.

2. They kept my belongings for two weeks. We were okay... it was a Texas winter-storm, so we understood that it might take time. We followed up after things settled, only to realize that my belongings never left their storage for Texas. It was sitting somewhere in NJ. Lesson learnt: Should have kept bugging them about my stuff to get it expedited.

3. They unloaded my belongings and the person who drove it to our new place asked for an upfront payment of the dues. We obliged... and my household items were brought in by two other people.. who said that they were hired on Craigslist the same day. Yeah, these are the so-called professionals. Now, we noted that the mattress was damaged. Cartons were lost. Bed frame legs were missing. Essentially, we are getting our stuff in ruins. And the driver said that he has no responsibility for it. He asked us to follow up with the company.

And here I am, writing in the morning(ten days after receiving damaged belongings) about how I was cheated by this company who stopped responding to my calls emails as soon as they mooched us off our money and belongings which had monetary and sentimental value. I am attaching the pictures in this review.

I rarely write reviews, but I feel it as my duty to make people aware of the scam which this company's rating and performance actually are.

Long-distance move from Oklahoma City, OK to Cordova, TN

Bait and switch company. Scam artists

Moving from Oklahoma to Tennessee I was originally quoted $1900. Received a phone call two days bf moving and received another quote of $2950. Day of move the movers were 6 hours late and now wanted over $7000. And surprise I’m now dealing with a different company. Triumphant movers LLC. They wanted 70% up front and their only forms of payment were cash app; not half now half on delivery as I was quoted and they charged me again for moving supplies $200 after I was already charged $80. Had them move just the big appliances, not even half of what was quoted. They hired Craigslist helpers. Not professionals. My sleep number bed was damaged and also my refrigerator. Had to hire someone else to actually get my refrigerator and bed into the house bc the Craigslist people could not figure it out. Have tried calling and texting nonstop to no reply. They also misplaced my refrigerator handles which I still have yet to receive. Do not hire this company. You will regret it exponentially.

Bait and switch

Totally criminal. My parents were quoted a price and were told it was firm. When the movers showed up, they were told the price would be double. The movers were super sweet and agreed that this company is fraudulent. They ended up canceling (and finding someone else that would do it for the right price). Travis (the salesman) is a complete jerk. When he “sold” them the job, he said he’d be our point of contact. He wouldn’t even answer his phone after he got the sale. I can’t say enough bad things about this company. Now my parents are out their deposit. Apparently it’s binding and they claim they are not a moving company but a broker. So maddening!

Long-distance move from Bloomington, IN to Brighton, MA

Bait and switch

This company is a broker - not a moving company. I spoke with Brian, who was lovely and gave me a "binding estimate" based on the list of items I had to move, and an estimate of their cubic feet. It's a small move and pretty straight forward - a full-size bed and frame, 3 cushion sofa, and a bunch of boxes. They contracted out to "Golden Men Movers", who showed up and claimed that the number of cubic feet required on the truck was SIGNIFICANTLY more that was listed in my estimate, and that it would cost an additional $800 to move my stuff. We took out the mattress and it was still over $400 MORE than my original "binding estimate". At this point, they have you captive. The moving truck is there, your stuff is packed, with a lease that is ending, and you have already paid a non-refundable deposit -so what choice do you have? NONE. So we paid the additional money, and I went back to Priceline to ask for a partial refund since my estimate was BINDING unless I changed the amount of stuff listed in my original estimate. I have heard NOTHING from Priceline after several attempts to contact them. I created a spreadsheet of cubic feet of the list of items from my original quote, and the list of items the movers actually packed and it is 35% less stuff that I ended up moving - yet I paid 25% MORE than the "BINDING ESTIMATE".

OH - and it's been over 2 weeks and my stuff has not been delivered yet - with no estimate from the movers as to when it might arrive

I received my first quote on April 23, 2021 for $2,180 to move my things from Los Angeles to CT, and gave a deposit of $893. On May 3, 2021, on my inventory assurance call, I added some furniture letting them know I was unsure if I would be taking the additional items, but wanted to be safe and not sorry. My estimate increased to $2861, and I had to give another$ 400 for my deposit. They guaranteed me my price would drop if I did not take these additional items. I called back 2 days later to let them know I sold the furniture items that I would not be taking these additional items. Instead of refunding me the $400, they said the movers would square up with me when they arrived and would lower my price when they got there. THIS WAS A LIE!! Even though I was guaranteed the price would not increase, when the movers got to my home, they informed me that the price had increased to an additional $3600!! That brought my estimate from $2280 to $4800!! I called the company Immediately and they said they would take care of it on their end and to go ahead and let the movers start taking my things. Once finished, the movers said the price had not changed and I needed to pay them at least $1000 in cash on the spot. Since I had already paid $1200, and was only supposed to give half of the balance upon pick up…this was only supposed to five $500. I called the company back several times and no one would answer. I was put to voicemail several times…left on my own by the company with men in my home that now had my stuff…so I had to pay.

I called the company daily from that point for several weeks to ask about my refund. I was continually told they had not received the “bill of lading” and I must have increased the load. I told them I had pictures of my stuff and my copy of the bill of lading but they would not budge with my refund and said they needed it from the movers who came. I called several times per week for a month. I left messages, talked to several different people and was given the run around every time. Westly, who promised he would take care of my move personally, never once returned my calls. I spoke to a man named Craig, a woman named Ms. Maxwell and several others and no one would help me. I was told the company would deliver my stuff in 7-10 days, it took 6 weeks. When the movers arrived, I had to pay an additional $2600 cash. This move ended up costing me $4800, more than double the original estimate. And the company lost 3 of my boxes!!

This company is a scam and the employees are liars. They promise you they will be there 24/7 to assist with any problems. Instead, they don’t take your calls, they put you to voicemail, they make excuses, and lie right to your face if you are lucky enough to get a human on the phone. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!

Horrible service - poor disclosures. You do not get what you pay for.

This company subcontracts moves out to un-reputable moving companies that end up ripping you off. Those companies often sub-sub contract out the work to other movers. You never know what you are going to get, or be charged. The movers who ultimately handle your possessions are poorly run companies that damage your goods. You end up not being able to contact the actual movers when you have issues, and Priceline doesn't take responsibility for what their sub contractors or sub-sub contractors do.

A horrible, horrible company to deal with. Do not entrust your possessions to them.

Long-distance move from Mansfield, TX to Spanish Fork, UT

Huge Bait and Switch- Steer Clear!

Underquoted us in the beginning. Final amount ended up being 3 times more than what was promised. Extremely unprofessional moving company was sent out to collect our stuff. The moving company demanded we pay them in cash. They hired temp workers that looked like they could have just wandered in from the street. All they did was rent a Penske truck and slap their logo on it. For the service I recieved I literally could have rented a truck and done all of it myself and saved THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of dollars. Please tell anyone you know to steer clear! I wasn't able to type my full experience in here because of the character limit, but the whole thing was a huge scam. I was very very surprised that we ended up getting our stuff delivered in the end. Since the day before our move Priceline refuses to answer my phonecalls. They have their money now.

Stay away!!!!

Long-distance move from Boston, MA to Clearwater, FL

Worst Experience Ever

I used Priceline Logistics for a move from Boston, MA to Clearwater, FL. When I booked the move, I spoke with Jim Miller and was quoted 2469.64 for the move. I was moving mostly boxes and a few small furniture items. When I made the call, I hadn’t completed packing, so I informed Jim that I wasn’t yet sure of the final amount of boxes and wanted to wait until I had a final number. He assured me not to worry because my move was well under the 2,000lb limit and said I could just call back when I had the final number of boxes. He also assured me the price would not go up and never mentioned a word about cubic feet, nor did he mention that Priceline Logistics wouldn’t be the company moving our stuff.

Jim also assured me that he would be there “every step of the way”, but I was not able to reach Jim. In fact, it took over two weeks before I was able to reach anyone because no one answered the phone, and no matter what number I called, the mailbox was always full. I did eventually get someone to respond to email and someone did eventually call me back, but I was then informed that the price would go up to 3,549 because I had more than 286 cubic feet with the additional boxes. I should have cancelled then, but I had already paid the deposit, which by this time was only 50% refundable as a credit toward a future move, so I agreed to the increase and was promised again that the price would not go up save 75 dollars for an extra set of stairs.

I was given a three-day window for my move August 16-18th, however, I received a call from the driver of Moving Express, who had been hired to move my stuff, that Saturday (August 14th) informing us that they were coming the next day August 15th between 11-1 pm. When I stated that did not work for me, I was told that I had to accept that day because they could not come any other day that week.

When they arrived a little after 3pm, I was told that I would need to pay another $1500 because I did not wrap the furniture I had in blankets so they would need to supply the blankets and wrap the furniture. They also said, there was a charge for every seven steps after the first seven stairs. Our unit was on the 3rd floor.

When I told the driver that my contract stated every 15 steps and that the moving blankets were included in the price, the driver stated, “That contract is with Priceline and doesn’t mean anything to us.” I tried to call Priceline but they were closed, so I told them to forget it and that I would work with my credit card company to get the deposit back. They then came down on the price and asked for a $700 tip instead. I knew I was being taken advantage of, but given that I was not sure if I would get another mover by the time I had to vacate my home, not to mention I was risking losing my deposit, which was over 1,500, I agreed to pay the $700 tip.

My stuff was shipped to a storage facility and when the driver called to provide me with a delivery date, he wanted even more money stating that he would need a shuttle truck. I had already confirmed with the storage company when I made the reservation that a semi truck would not be an issue. When I informed the driver of this, he did not believe me and asked me to call to confirm again. I did and got the same information, which I shared with the driver but he still did not believe me, so I told him that I was not paying for a shuttle truck when it wasn’t necessary and that I would expect my stuff at the storage facility the following day as agreed. When he got to the storage company, he wanted an additional $50 because the unit was on the 2nd floor. When he was told that there was an elevator and that the additional fee only pertained to stairs, he agreed to bring the stuff to the unit but just piled our stuff in the unit with no organization. Given all of this, I would NEVER, EVER use this company again nor would I recommend them to anyone. They should be ashamed of themselves. I was left feeling cheated and embarrassed.

Thieves, unprofessional, incompetent

DO NOT hire, unless you want your stuff missing, damaged! Still missing 13 boxes, they don't return calls. Take zero accountability. They outsource to a 3rd party. Shows up 3 days late. On delivery we had to off load only a driver showed up. Smashed boxes, most of my kitchenware broken. Tears all over my leather couches! My vespa scooter scratched and thrown on it's side boxes piled on top.

SCAM

Priceline Logistics LLC doesn't deserve even one star. This company lies to the elderly and scams them out of money without having to provide the services. I tried to cancel my move months ago but I was told I could keep my quote and put the move on hold. I asked if I decided to cancel in the future would I get my entire deposit back. I was told that they would fully refund my deposit. They are withholding over $2000.00 I paid in a deposit and now they only offered to give me 50% back. They said a verbal agreement is not legally binding. Verbal agreements are legally binding on both the federal and state levels. So I guess were are now off to court to settle this. They prey on the elderly and do not follow through on their agreements. I have reported them to the BBB and Florida's Attorney General. I will follow through with the FTC and FBI for internet fraud since I found this company online. You would be better served hiring a driver and renting a uhaul if you need to move. It would be more reliable and you wouldn't get ripped off.

Scam

Please beware this company, I feel dumb to not google this company before I gave out my debit card to John Kemp, The presume and lies on the phone , I asked would you charge me extra if I live in 4 floors with elevators? And he said NO, I’m sure this would record on your recorded line , I didn’t even read the contract until almost a week to my moving date, Thanks God I checked and read all terrible reviews from this company, I requested cancel a week before my move and accepted that I will lost 50% of my deposit and I contacted them for my refund and No one reply to my email, It over 2 -3 weeks and there is no sign of my 50% refund! Why you do this to people? Moving across the state is the hardest thing to do and we need to facing the scammer like this company and no one deserves that! No one wants to have unexpected bill which we already planned out everything and I am so glad that I canceled my moving and rent a Penske truck and hired someone to carry my stuffs ! You can move across the state with a lot lower cost if you or someone can drive a truck, this company shouldn’t be in business and after this review I

Will file a dispute with BBB ! You better refund my money back !

Beware- Worst move EVER!

If I could give no stars that would be what this company deserves. Please do your homework and read every platform with other reviews for this company. Most importantly read the BBB complaints. I trusted this company to move my small furniture items from one state to another state. My move was a nightmare. They get you signed up and make all the promises of a delivery date. Once they have your item on the truck, everything changes. It took almost 20 days for my small studio items to be delivered, which I was told in advance and in writing I would have the items in 2 days. Not only was my delivery delayed, but some of the items was not delivered. Please note this is my experience with this company. Read all the reviews and use good judgement before using this company.

Long-distance move from Fort Smith, AR to Reno, NV

Bait and switch. Horrible customer service

Price line is not a mover, any review who says other other wise is fake. There are brokers who subcontracts the move and likely to the cheapest bidder. They will sugarcoat things up front to get your business and a deposit where they make their money. The movers who did my move only accepted the job only 24-48hrs before the move. I spent countless hours in touch with Priceline, lightning speed movers, the DOT, police, lawyers, insurance people, senators, and congresswoman to find my property. Just a few days prior to the “mover” arriving they were to do a quality check to finalize all my property. There wasnosuch thing andthey said they’ll do better next time,it was a joke to them. They will reference you back to the movers as in their contract they don’t deal with you after the movers take your property. I call them non stop for several hours which ended up blocking their phone line and they got mad at me cause I was just trying to find my property. After over a year of calling in inquiring, DOT investigators found my property which I ended up picking up from storage. During pickup the storage wanted all the moving blankets and wanted to charge me $25 each if I took them and there was about 20-30 pieces. I was one of the lucky ones who did find their property after being in contact with this company.
